Keynote speakers- Biodiversity Dynamics and Conservation: Ana Rodrigues is researcher at the CEFE (Centre d'Ecologie Fonctionnelle et Evolutive) in Montpellier, France. Her work focuses on the conservation of biodiversity to a macro-ecological scale. Through a historical dimension, she also examines in the human impact on animal communities. She recently works on birds and marine mammals communities, and she is currently involved in a program on Arctic wildlife.
- Humanities and Natural Sciences: Yanni Gunnell, professor at the university Lumière Lyon II. He works on the rhytms, speeds and overviews in continental geomorphology, on the co-evolution between ecosystems and human society during the quaternary era, on paleo-environmental studies, and urban nature questions.
- Systematics, Evolution and Comparative Anatomy: Bertrand Lefebvre is researcher at the université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, France. His research interests are focused on the diversification of Metazoa during the early Paleozoic and on the impact of climatic variations on marine ecosystems during Ordovician.

- Evolutionary Ecology: Anthony Herrel is a permanant researcher working at the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle in Paris (France). His main research interest concerns the evolution of complex integrated systems.
- Methods in Natural Sciences: Vincent Fernandez is a beamline scientist working at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (Grenoble, France). Doctor in paleontology, he is a specialist of imaging methods applied to paleontological materiel. |
